Development Team

At SSQauto, we have a dedicated team of experts focused on business development. Representatives work in the field to meet with groups.

Their objective? Identify group members' damage insurance needs and translate these needs into a suitable, customized service proposal:

  • David Fortier | Senior Manager – Business Development

    David Fortier has been working in the insurance industry for over 10 years. It was shortly after his arrival at SSQauto that his career path led him to take on a managerial role. First he was a team manager with the Customer Relations Center, from 2003 to 2008, before being promoted to management director (sales). Since September 2009, Mr. Fortier has been responsible for business development and maintaining the quality of the sales force for SSQauto, in addition to participating on the boards of directors of certain partner groups.  Most recently, since September 2011, Mr. Fortier has been jointly supervising the network of SSQauto's affiliated agents.

  • Yves Belleville | Group Insurance Representative

    Yves Belleville has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and holds the title of Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP). Mr. Belleville joined the ranks of SSQauto in 1988. His extensive experience as a representative and adviser, and his work in customer service will be extremely useful in the consolidation of current groups and in the development of new partnerships.

  • Michel Côté | Group Insurance Representative

    Michel Côté completed his university studies in business administration at Université Laval in 1994. At that time, he already had ten years of experience in insurance and business development. With a broad range of experience in an advisory role under his belt, Mr. Côté joined the SSQauto team in 2006 and since then has focused on maintaining the highest service quality standards for group members assigned to him.

  • Sonia Mailhot | Group Insurance Representative

    With a bachelor's in public communications from Université Laval, Sonia Mailhot built up a number of years of experience in sales, client services, and training. When Mrs Mailhot joined SSQauto in 2006, her partner groups immediately benefitted from her extensive experience in representation and client services.
