France LeBlanc | Vice President – Actuarial Services

Function

As the Vice-President of Actuarial Services, France LeBlanc manages the teams responsible for rating insurance products and their profitability. Ms. LeBlanc handles the modelling and management of financial risk for SSQauto. She also is the Appointed Actuary of the company. In this role, Ms. LeBlanc must certify to the board of directors that the company's financial health is sound and it can meet all its obligations to policyholders.

Career

Ms. LeBlanc is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and of the Casualty Actuarial Society. For 12 years, Ms. LeBlanc has been one of the pillars of SSQauto's senior management. When Ms. LeBlanc came to work for SSQ, she already had a solid background as an actuarial director.

Ms. LeBlanc is the Chairperson of the Actuarial Committee of the Groupement des assureurs automobiles (GAA).
