SSQ Bee: A day of generosity at Cité Joie

Lac-Beauport | June 15, 2009

On Saturday, June 13, over a hundred SSQ employees from Quebec City took part in a major bee at Cité Joie in Lac Beauport.

They volunteered their time and energy to build Grange SSQ, a structure donated to Cité Joie by SSQ Real Estate that will be converted into a nature interpretation center.

Major work was carried out during the day - roofing, painting, and outdoor design of Grange SSQ, and general maintenance on the rest of the site. Cité Joie director Denis Savard wishes to thank the volunteers: “With the invaluable support of many individuals, partners, and contractors, we were able to complete a series of tasks before summer that would otherwise have been impossible.”
