All in a Day's Work

My workdays as the Director of the Customer Relations Center are varied and never routine. Specifically, my job consists of ensuring excellent customer service with the help of a team of seasoned directors. In addition, I am involved in a variety of company projects aimed at continually improving our practices, and I am a member of a number of committees. 

My Time at SSQauto

I started working at SSQauto on September 9, 2001. When I was hired, I had no insurance training or experience. Because a certificate issued by Autorité des marchés financiers is required to work in this profession, the company offered me outstanding training that helped me pass the exams and complete an internship. These endeavors helped me to become a licensed personal lines damage insurance agent. After working in that position for five years and getting involved in the company in a number of ways (including the social club), I was promoted to Director at the Customer Relations Center in June 2006 and to Director - Sales—E-business in September 2009.

Since January 2011, I occupy the position of Director of the Customer Relations Center. I am also pursuing university studies part time in order to upgrade my skills and advance my career at SSQauto.

Before Joining SSQauto

Before becoming an insurance agent and Team Leader at the Customer Relations Center, I worked at a variety of jobs not directly linked to the field of insurance, but that provided me nonetheless with experience in sales, customer service, and team management. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, I discovered the field of insurance through my work with drug insurance. I realized I enjoyed giving people information on their insurance policies, meeting their needs, and giving them advice and information on various products.
