All in a Day's Work

Every day, my job as an SSQ Personal Lines Damage Insurance Agent gives me the opportunity to talk to dozens of people from across Quebec and offer them insurance coverage that fits their needs. Whether I’m selling a new policy or making changes to a current one, I have to stay focused on the client in order to provide personalized advice. What drives me? Living up to our clients’ trust every day by providing the best possible service. It’s a wonderful challenge and a great privilege!

My Time at SSQ General Insurance

I joined the SSQ General Insurance team in late 2003. Although I had never worked in insurance, the company provided solid training to help me obtain the permit I needed from Autorité des marchés financiers in order to carry out my duties. I have since become a personal insurance agent. In 2008 I worked as a training supervisor, which allowed me to share my skills and experience with the next generation of agents. Together with some of my colleagues, I also had the opportunity to work with the claims department for a few weeks to help them out during a particularly busy period. I am also a member of one of my department’s committees. Our role is to improve the work environment by planning a variety of fun monthly activities.

Before Joining SSQ General Insurance

I worked for the same company for a number of years in the field of travel and tourism. Although I was dealing with a different product, this work experience gave me the skills I needed to provide good advice and work with clients. It has also helped me adapt to and connect with the personality of each client.
