All in a Day's Work

As team director of the Customer Relations Center, my job is very diversified. My main responsability is to motivate my team of insurance agents, troubleshoot underwriting problems, see to management, and organize upcoming activities for my team. I also have to plan, organize, guide, and monitor my team's success. In my job, if I want to make informed decisions, I have to be on top of things all the time!

My Time at SSQ General Insurance

I started out as a damage insurance agent in January 1999. In July 2003, I took up a position as acting director, and thanks to SSQ General Insurance's rapid growth, my position became permanent in June 2004. I was also a member of the company's retirement committee for two years.

Before Joining SSQ General Insurance

I graduated from Cégep de Sainte-Foy with a vocational diploma in administration (insurance). During my studies, I completed a number of internships with an insurance broker, who subsequently hired me full-time. I worked there for two years before joining SSQ General Insurance in 1999.

Why SSQ General Insurance?

Because of the numerous challenges the company allows me to take on. Plus, SSQ General Insurance is exemplary in the way it treats each employee as an individual. The work environment is highly stimulating, and I'm a better worker because of that.
