What does condominium insurance cover?

A condominium insurance is divided into two parts: property and civil liability.

Your property
  • Improvements to your condominium made or paid for by you: this clause provides coverage for improvements to your unit for which you incurred an expense
  • Your personal property: the contents of your unit and any personal property that may be temporarily off the insured premises
  • Supplemental expenses: those incurred following a loss, i.e., expenses a family would not ordinarily incur in the course of daily living
Civil liability Condominium insurance protects you against the financial consequences of civil liability for bodily injury or property damage involuntarily caused to others.

If you are sued for damages covered under this protection, SSQauto will cover the full cost of your defense.

Certain conditions and limitations apply.
